The Simpsons is a parody to an average American family. The Simpsons family consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson. The Simpsons, together with dozens of other characters live in a fictional town called Springfield with a dog and a cat in the house.

The Simpsons probably is the most famous cartoon series in the history. Created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company, The Simpsons first appeared on Fox’s The Tracey Ullman Show on April 19, 1987. Since then, the series has won numerous awards and became one of Fox’s most viewed shows. The Simpsons characters have been redesigned several times and, even though the basic characteristics were kept, animation quality has increased drastically. Nowadays, 20 years after The Simpsons came to life, the series is still extremely popular and new seasons are produced every year.

THE SIMPSONS GAMES:

	Springfield Snow Fight
	In this game you participate in a snow fight against the citizens of Springfield (The Simpsons cartoon series). You need to hit The Simpsons characters as they appear pointing with your mouse and clicking to throw a snowball. The number of your snowballs is limited. You will see them in the bottom right corner of the screen. If you run out of snowballs, the game is over. To get more snowballs you need to hit snowman Homer. All characters, but Nelson do you no harm. Nelson tries to hit you with a snowball. If he succeeds to do it, you lose points. To avoid Nelson's snowball you can either hit him before he throws the snowball (which is quite difficult) or dodge clicking "Dodge" button that appears in the bottom right corner.

	The Simpsons: Wrecking Ball
	This game is aimed to promote The Simpsons Movie. You play as Homer Simpson. Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie have been arrested. You need to hit the police autovan with a wrecking ball and free your family. Your gaol is to make the box with the prisoners roll as far as possible. Use the arrow keys to drive your vehicle and to raise and lower the crane with the wrecking ball.

	The Simpsons: Home Interactive
	This not really a game, but rather an interactive application dedicated to Simpsons. You can walk around the Simpsons' house, interact with different The Sipsons characters and household objects, listen to various audio tracks from the series etc. Use you mouse to navigate in the house and check the "things to do" list to discover the major things you can do.

	Simpsons Magic Ball
	This game is quite simple. You have a number of Simpsons characters and a magic ball, where Simpsons scenes appear in a sequence. You must remember the characters you have seen and then click on them in the same order they have appeared. If you succeed several times in a row, you pass to the next level, where sequences are longer and you have more characters.

	Simpsons Must Die
	This is an old game, but as long as it wasn't on this site before, I suppose that it's worth adding. The principle of the game is quite simple: you need to shoot Simpsons characters. The more you kill, the beter.
